HEART ATTACKS AND WATER !

How many folks do you know who say they don't want to drink anything before going to bed because they'll have to get up during the night.
Heart Attack and Water - I never knew all of this ! Interesting.......
Something else I didn't know ... I asked my Doctor why people need to urinate so much at night time. Answer from my Cardiac Doctor - Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright (legs swell). When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc) seeks level with the kidneys, it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement!
I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me. Correct time to drink water...
Very Important. From A Cardiac Specialist!
Drinking water at a certain time maximizes its effectiveness on the body
2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion
1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack
I can also add to this... My Physician told me that water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse.
Mayo Clinic Aspirin Dr. Virend Somers, is a Cardiologist from the Mayo Clinic, who is lead author of the report in the July 29, 2008 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
Most heart attacks occur in the day, generally between 6 A.M. and noon. Having one during the night, when the heart should be most at rest, means that something unusual happened. Somers and his colleagues have been working for a decade to show that sleep apnea is to blame.
1. If you take an aspirin or a baby aspirin once a day, take it at night.
The reason: Aspirin has a 24-hour "half-life"; therefore, if most heart attacks happen in the wee hours of the morning, the Aspirin would be strongest in your system.
2. FYI, Aspirin lasts a really long time in your medicine chest, for years, (when it gets old, it smells like vinegar).
Please read on...
Something that we can do to help ourselves - nice to know. Bayer is making crystal aspirin to dissolve instantly on the tongue.
They work much faster than the tablets.
Why keep Aspirin by your bedside? It's about Heart Attacks.
There are other symptoms of a heart attack, besides the pain on the left arm. One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating; however, these symptoms may also occur less frequently.
Note: There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack.
The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.
If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water.
Afterwards: - Call 911. - Phone a neighbor or a family member who lives very close by.- Say "heart attack!" - Say that you have taken 2 Aspirins.
Take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and ...DO NOT LIE DOWN!
A Cardiologist has stated that if each person after receiving this e-mail, sends it to 10 people, probably one life could be saved!
I have already shared this information. What about you?

Do forward this message. It may save lives!

Were Jews Really Slaves in Egypt? Where is the Proof That Jews Were Slaves?

Were Jews really slaves in Egypt? If they were, there are many questions as to the evidence behind the claim. Where exactly is the archeological evidence that Jews were ever slaves?Although the Bible and other religious text insinuate that Jews were enslaved in early Egypt, no physical proof of this supposed fact has surfaced. The belief that the Jewish population built the great pyramids that have greatly symbolized the power and history of Egypt has always been a subject of debate and controversy.

Did the Jews build the pyramids in Egypt? photo from Wikipedia

As of today, there has been no scientific nor archeological finding confirming that Jews were enslaved in Egypt. No historical finding has proved that Jews were even a huge population in the region as religious text may suggest. Moreover, there is also no proof supporting the story that a mass migration of the Jewish population across the Sinai Peninsula occurred.

According to archeological and historical records, evidence states that workers who built the pyramids were actually well payed Egyptians. DNA evidence shows no procreation between ancient Egyptians and Israelites, further disproving the myth of hundreds of thousands of Jews being enslaved during that period.

Were Jews really slaves in Egypt? In short, the answer is no. The pyramids were not even built in the right time period for the Israelites to be enslaved as they are anywhere from 800 to 2,000 years older than Exodus. The theory of Jews being enslaved to build the great pyramids of Egypt are, to all scientific and historical accounts, a longstanding myth that refuses to be entirely debunked due in large part to its religious references.

Is This President Obama’s Kenyan Birth Certificate?

The long-rumored and illusive original Birth Certificate of President Barack Obama may have just come to life. Images taken of what appear to be President Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate show that he was born in Mombasa, Kenya rather than in Hawaii where he would rather have you believe. Ever since Obama had began to gain attention as the Democratic Party Nominee in the 2008 Presidential Elections, skeptics have been asking for proof that he was actually a natural born US Citizen. This controversy grew more and more as it appeared that Obama had a chance of winning the polls, but little chance of producing an original document showing his birth place. There were even questions as to whether the Hawaiian birth certificate later provided was even authentic.
Is This President Obama’s Kenyan Birth Certificate?

President Obama's Kenyan Birth Certificate?

This document is an either well researched fake, or the real deal.

Online news source ThePowerHour.com has hosted these three images taken to show the details on this supposed Kenyan birth certificate that show that Barack Obama was born in the general hospital in Mombasa Kenya. This document appears to have an authentic look to it, and is somehow more believable to some than the crisp and clean cut Hawaiian birth certificate supplied by one of Obama’s staffers during his presidential campaign.

Some wealthy people who have opposed President Obama’s election, such as Donald Trump and Larry Flint, had previously offered reward money if anyone could come forward with verified copies that President Obama was in fact not born within the United States. The reasoning is that by law, a person elected as the President of the United States has to have been a natural born US Citizen, and could not have been born elsewhere regardless of parental nationality. If this document proves to be authentic, it would prove that not only was President Barack Obama never eligible to run for Presidential Office, but that he is also a fraud for having provided a fake birth certificate.

Details from this document, enlarged below, show that his father was in fact born in Kenya (as we all should known), and that his mother was born in Wichita, Kansas. It shows their registered address as being in Hawaii, where President Obama claims to be from. The issue here is that when it comes to being eligible for the office of President of the United States it does not matter what residential address you claim on your birth certificate. His parent’s occupation is listed as being students, so perhaps they were just taking a trip to Kenya so that Obama’s mother could meet his father’s family before their baby was born. Or perhaps Barack Obama Sr. had thought that it would be best if his son was born back in his own home country of Kenya rather than in the United States.

Details on this supposed birth certificate show that if this is true, Barack Obama would have been born on August 2, 1961 in Mombasa Kenya at the Coast General Hospital Mombasa. The names of the officials listed on the document have also supposedly been cross examined and turned out to be the right names of the individuals who would have signed off on a birth certificate at that place and time. While this could have also been well researched when creating a forgery, it is important still to note that those are reportedly accurate. Little details like that can make or break a forgery if that were the case. Additional test would be needed to fully analyze the document to prove whether it was printed on the same kind of paper as other Kenyan birth certificates provided at that time, the chemical analysis of the ink used, etc.

President Obama has faced a lot of scrutiny since his 2008 election, and this would prove monumental if it were to come forward into the public’s eyes. Would information like this that was knowingly suppressed affect people’s acceptance and support of the president? With an already declining popularity, and the US Government in a state of shut down, the timing of this document could end up being a turning point for many Americans. Do you believe that Obama was born in Hawaii, or do you think he was born in Kenya? Did the images of this document change your beliefs any? Post in the comments below about what you feel is the truth about Obama’s birth place.

Helsinki is most honest city in the world

Helsinki is the most honest city in the world, according to a new study carried out by Reader’s Digest.

The magazine dropped 192 wallets around the world in 16 different cities to see what would happen. Each wallet contained the equivalent of $50, plus a telephone number, a family photo, coupons and business cards.

The city to return the most? Helsinki. Finland’s capital city brought back 11 of the 12 “lost” wallets, which were left in parks, near shopping centres and on pavements.

"Finns are naturally honest," said Lasse Luomakoski, a 27-year-old businessman who returned one of them. "We are a small, quiet, closely-knit community. We have little corruption, and we don't even run red lights."

Mumbai came in close second with 9 of the 12 wallets returned, ahead of Budapest in Hungary, where 8 of 12 were returned.

“I remember being in a car, when my dad noticed a wallet by the side of the road,” one 17 year old student explained. “When we reached the owner he was very grateful: Without the papers in the wallet he would have had to postpone his wedding which was to take place the very same day!”

Reader’s Digest continued: “However, a woman in her early sixties opened the wallet, and then entered a nearby building. We never heard from her.”

New York also returned 8 out of 12 wallets, followed by Moscow and Amsterdam (7) and Berlin and Ljubljana (6).

Londoners returned 5 of the 12 wallets, alongside Warsaw in Poland.

The least honest city was Lisbon, which returned only 1 of the 12 wallets, just behind Madrid, where 2 were returned. The one wallet that was returned was not even returned by locals: they were a couple visiting from Holland.

In total, 47 per cent were returned. The surprising conclusions include that there is no set pattern to those who return lost wallets.

“Age is no predictor of whether a person is going to be honest or dishonest; young and old both kept or returned wallets; male and female were unpredictable; and comparative wealth seemed no guarantee of honesty.”

The bottom line? “There are honest and dishonest people everywhere.

Incredible! 9-Year Old Nigerian Becomes The Youngest Microsoft Certified Professional

Nine-year-old Jomiloju Tunde-Oladipo, who is a primary six pupil of Role Model School, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, has emerged one of the youngest pupils to obtain the Microsoft Certified Professional Certificate He came tops among 21 pupils who sat for the professional examination in Lagos. He is now a Microsoft office specialist in office word 2010. In his examination score report, the slim-built boy performed well in Sharing and Maintaining Documents, Formatting Content, Applying Page Layout, and Reusable Content, among other subjects. By the feat, Jomiloju has joined the league of young Microsoft certified professionals, including Nigeria’s 10-year-old Anjolaoluwa Seyi-Ojo; an eight-year-old Indian, Lavishnashree, and two Pakistanis, named Arfa and Thobani. Microsoft Certified Professional is a certification programme provided by Microsoft Corporation. The certification is tailored towards building skills on Microsoft business solutions, focusing on client-end operating systems such as windows XP, Vista, Windows7 among others. Jomiloju, whose certificate was signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Microsoft Corporation, Steven Ballmer, says he did not achieve this feat easily, but through persistence and hard work. He says, “It was not all that easy, because I had attempted the examination last year, I did not make it then. But I remained focused and I put in a lot of hard work. “At home and in the school, I am always on the computer. After school hours, if am not doing anything, I will go to my Information Communication Technology teacher, to learn more.” Relating his experience, Jomiloju says, “In all, I answered 20 questions, after answering a question, the computer takes you to another one. And at times, there will be an instruction to skip the next question. But the programme still directs one to come back to those questions one had earlier skipped.” But was he really scared having failed once to meet the cut off mark? He stresses that he was really afraid due to his earlier experience but he was optimistic of having success, because according to him, he has prepared well. He also gives kudos to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tunde-Ladipo, for their support and imbuing in him the ‘can do’ spirit in achieving the success. He says, “My mum and dad were very supportive. They always tell me never to give up and eventually it paid off. Moreover, they had bought the latest Dell laptop. Again, I am always fascinated about computer. The way it works and the process, and the way it organises data.” Jomiloju who is a left-handed writer, according to his parents, has been a gifted child. He has always been in love with gadgets. His mum, Toyin, says, “Jomiloju since he was baby had loved playing with gadgets, he was never interested in toys. He would pick up remote controls for both TV and air-conditioner, and he would correctly use them for their specific functions.” His father adds, “It is not that we are unnecessarily indulging him but he is such a brilliant child. He’s multi-talented. He plays the saxophone, he’s good on keyboard, he acts very well and he’s a good swimmer. “Each term, he participates in school drama and quiz. He also gets prizes in other subjects, apart from ICT.”

PDP crisis: INEC sticks to Tukur, rejects Baraje’s faction

.
A faction of the People’s Democratic Party under the leadership of Abubakar Kawo Baraje suffered two major defeats yesterday, with the rejection of the list of officials it submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the authentic party leaders as well as the dismissal of its suit against the Bamanga Tukur group by the Lagos State High Court. DailyPost had reported earlier that the Lagos state High Court dismissed the case because it lacked jurisdiction to preside over a case that should have been decided in Abuja. Meanwhile, INEC on its own part said it was not possible to withdraw its recognition of the Bamanga Tukur group since it was part of the entire processes that brought the National Chairman of the party as well as other officials of his group to power. INEC, in its clarification letter, and in reply to a letter sent to it by the National Secretary of the New Peoples Democratic Party, nPDP, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, claiming that the Baraje group was the authentic leaders of the party, and be recognised, said it was fully involved in all the processes that led to the emergence of Tukur’s leadership, hence will continue to work with the Tukur’s faction. It therefore refused to recognise the Baraje faction of the party. The letter with reference No. INEC/LEG/PDP/19/111/245 and dated October 2, 2013, was captioned: Notification of Changes in the leadership of the PDP and request for formal recognition. It was signed by the Acting Secretary of INEC, Mr. U. F. Usman. The letter reads, “The commission acknowledges the receipt of your letters dated 1st and 23rd September respectively wherein you requested the commission’s recognition of the Baraje-led faction and newly-elected NWC. “You will recall that the commission monitored the National Convention and Special National Convention of the PDP held on the 24th of March 2012 and 31st of August 2013 at the Eagle Square, Abuja, after notices to the commission. “A NWC was elected at the two conventions with Alhaji Bamanga Tukur as the National Chairman. The commission will not withdraw recognition from the leadership of the PDP elected at the conventions duly monitored by the commission. “Be guided accordingly,” the commission said. from the news desk of Daily Post Nigeria

How to overcome the fear of dogs !

If you have a fear of dogs, or cynophobia as this is also known as, you are not alone. Many people experience great anxiety when they come in contact with dogs, or even see photographs of them. It is thought that people who have cynophobia, have either had a bad experience with a dog in the past, or witnessed one, and this is the cause of their abnormal fear reaction when they encounter, what some other people refer to, as mans best friend. There are several different ways you can overcome a fear of dogs. You may choose to find a professional to help you, or to overcome your fear by yourself, using one of the methods below. # Systematic Desensitisation Systematic desensitisation relies on the fact that most people can reduce their fears by gradually becoming accustomed to the object of their anxiety. Thus, to help yourself get over being afraid of dogs, you would slowly ease yourself into situations where you are likely to experience the presence of dogs. In the very beginning, you may take small steps toward getting closer to dogs, via looking at photographs of dogs, reading books about dogs, and then watching films with dogs in them. Eventually you may begin taking walks in a park where people take their dogs, visiting pet shops where items for dogs are on display, and arranging to come in to contact with a friends dog. When you feel ready to actually meet a dog in person, have the owner keep their dog on a lead, and approach the dog yourself, rather than have the dog approach you. You may find that just being in the same room as a dog, is enough to begin with, without getting to the stage where you actually pet the dog for a while. The idea with systematic desensitisation is that you become accustomed to dogs, and discover that being around them isn't so bad after all. Take small steps, at your own pace, and don't take setbacks as a failure. Instead, take a few steps back and begin again, and move on as, and when you are ready to do so. # Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic programming With this method of help for your phobia, expect to learn how to re-frame any past, traumatic experience you have had with dogs, and replace your negative feelings and responses with positive ones. You can do this with the help of a calm friend, and a few good hypnotherapy books with NLP re-framing instructions, or you can make an appointment with a practitioner. # Exposure Exposure is a more severe, and possibly instant method of relieving yourself of the fear of dogs. It involves throwing yourself in at the deep end, and surrounding yourself with dogs, or coming into close contact with one, straight away. For some people with cynophobia, exposure works very well. For others, the method is far too extreme, and can bring about a panic attack. Choosing how to overcome a fear of dogs is best done by taking your preferences into account. Everyone is different when it comes to finding the best method to work with their phobia. Learn more about this author, Bridget Webber.
